hail proles, on the eve of mayday… for those of you who were not able to shell out the $35 or sneak into today’s art≠design symposium at the museum of design, the text and images presented, in a more formal package than was presented today, will soon be available in the features section. unfortunately, the witticisms and supreme ad-libbing contained in today’s oration, in which i called the room the symposium was held in ‘repugnant’, charged the people to ‘care about cinder block walls because some d00d spent a day of his life building it’, and said the taj mahal was ‘not a good building’, are lost forever, into the ether. next time y’all see dave webb you can ask him how much scenery was chew’d up thar. thanks to the folks i met, ecpk (east coast pk (perry kirk)), and the lightroom d00d (kevin byrd), and thanks again to laura moody for her help these past few months!

here is an abstract for a feature under development which is also being submitted for consideration to the ACSA for a conference in the fall at the university of louisiana/lafayette. it deals in some fashion with the work.group’s marquis project and its investigation of allegory’s role in the design of a practice. also investigated will be the shortcomings of post-enlightenment monotheism, kafka, and boots stamping on human faces—forever.

Greetings mesdames and messieurs, twinks and taurs,
The first book, ‘marquis’, of the work.group epic _ex_nihilo_ has been closed. For those who were unable or unwilling to attend the show at the Museum of Design Atlanta in person, the work.group has put together a virtual romp where the text and vignettes follow the same temporal order as the work in the the MODA installation.
The virtual show may be found at:
sisyphean.com/projekts/marquis/install
In addition, the work.group has compiled and made public a series of
digital images of the installation process, the work in situ, and the
fête d’ouverture.
These images may be found at:

Enjoy, furries
