For more than a year, ominous rumors had been privately circulating among agitated loner proles that the United States had been at work on what was darkly hinted to be the ultimate weapon: a doomsday device. Intelligence sources traced the site of the top secret project to the perpetually fog-shrouded wasteland below the bear infested peaks of western Carolina. What they were building or why it should be located in such a remote and desolate place no one could say.

this bunker is an incubator for a new society. make sure to have lots of pillows.

Publius/3: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn’t that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Amsterd’m Houston: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious… service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Vermilion Girl: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.

maybe you are already doing this, but if you click ‘lzw’ compression when saving your tifs, then the file sze will be smaller w/o a loss in quality.

i failed to get the widescreen version you had

that is because i made it myself. i guess it advantageously allowed your usage of meatloaf aday.

jt writes: that is because i made it myself. i guess it advantageously allowed your usage of meatloaf aday.

is it just me, or is this taking up more time than had been expected (by us)?

-ashley
[ 18h26m34 | 04.Jan.2008 ] [ link ]

taking up more time

wtf did i tell you!!! jfx!

i couldnt even get myself to write a haiku a day in winter ‘05.

i am going to try to limit myself to 2 hours a day, but i already used those up this morning finishing what i couldnt finish last night on house 03. maybe i will wait until midnight to do the dwgs for house 04.

i must say that despite the time spent, this body of work will in the end be straight money.

-john
[ 18h34m26 | 04.Jan.2008 ] [ link ]

2 hours! i was hoping for half an hour or less. just wait until you have to ‘go’ 3x in a row; i think i spent 2 hours just looking for hi-res backgrounds to steal.

i couldnt even get myself to write a haiku a day in winter ‘05.

remember when i had that haiku party in los angeles? i made every one read their haiku(s) aloud, then refused to read mine - because it was about a girl who didn’t show up.

is that the one w/ the guy pulling out a fetus or something?

-ashley
[ 19h43m36 | 27.Feb.2008 ] [ link ]

you see! you would know that if you had watched it. in the climactic scene, shown above, the hit him in the stomach with a pick-axe and then he eats his own entrails. earlier, yes, he does eat a fetus.
