please find here the loaf concocted from the 3 timelines. this contains the redistributed fragments of my 3 drawings. i plan to pollinate it with your sectional info once they are all posted at the proper resolution. the grey indicates the high water line.
this might be the ugliest drawing on sisyphean. this is a plan diagram of what i am seeing in these messes.
to walk through it, i see the basic structure as 1) two large cofferdams on either side, bridged by a 2) landform that wraps around a 3) stacked tower element.
1) in the basin created by the cofferdams below sea level is a lush park and bird sanctuary. the invasive species grow over the belgian gates to create odd topiary. the zeppelins are tethered to these low points. the carpet of green grows up the sides of the outer landforms.
2) there are 2 landforms that rise up from the cofferdams and 1 that bridges them. the 2 insular ones house picturesque elements such as the martyrs tower and the ruins. the central landform has the binary dwellings, the coffee parlour, a playing field (for larping), and the cellar and crypt.
3) the central landform creates a small cove from whose center a tower element arises. around the base of the tower is a beach and at its base is a cavernous built landscape that collects tidal water. the spine of the tower is a series of swimming locks that the bather can ascend. partway up is a large teleidoscope which casts colorful reinterpretations of the changing skies down onto the landforms as the sun passes.
ps, i think something is fucked with our host with regards to mysql; i keep getting errors for the ‘features’ link, but if i refresh the page, they go away. they seem to appear randomly, and certainly nothing on our end is changing or broken. i have hidden the features, temporarily; perhaps we can fold them into the ‘pages’ section of wp.
you should have bought my truck; i would have traded it for a copy of ‘john adams‘.
i think the features error caused everything that came ‘after’ it in the code to be blank, so you would only see the title bar and the side bar. is that what you were experiencing? none of this is my fault.
plan update:
i am interested in these sort of masonry stacking techniques that are appearing. i think the idea of stacking and forming masses out of smaller objects that are not your typical block could be interesting. list of stackable forms: keyboard keys, jacks, stoppers, wedges and shims, tubs, thimbles.
it is hard to see because i fucked up the drawing trying to ‘behave badly.’ note to self, always scan before attempting to ‘behave badly.’ anyway, this is pretty much a section cut in an arc through the major east/west axis of the plan. i think i am going to do some photoshop studies over it. it is actually fairly detailed if you save it and zoom in. i will field any questions you might have.
