i dont know how to draw lines in photoshop.

if you think it is necessary, you can use the pen tool? or the brush/pencil? i only use those tools and the lasso. i guess you could try to select certain colours and/or areas of contrast, then covert the selection to paths?

or, you can export your acad dwgs to a adobe-friendly format?
