how to: uploading images +

the limit for uploading w/ iimagebrowser seems to be about 8mb.
for now, lets upload projekt images and news images with iimage browser.

if you have something you want to add to the sketchbook gallery, use the ‘photos/photopress’ feature (like on ct)

if you go to the ‘write post’ page, you will see a button called ‘iimage browser’.
this button will open a popup window.

there are some links at the top of the popup:
[root] />photos | plugins | themes | uploads |

choose ‘photos’, then you will see a list of folders, such as ‘fort and ‘birnbeck’;
choose the appropriate projekt:
[root] /photos/>birnbeck |

after you upload an image, you see it appear in the window. click on the image, and a bunch of options will appear on the screen (size of thumb, centering, etc); after you have chosen what you want, click ‘get the code’ or ‘add it to post’.

‘add it to post’ obviously pastes into the ‘write post’ window that is currently open (behind your iimage browser window)

‘get the code’ would be useful if you were going to paste it into a comment.

this is intended to eliminate the extra steps of using ftp and copy/pasting text.

25 september 2007, edited to add:
also, you may notice that you can reach the iimagebrowswer option when you are editing a posted comment. there is no button when making a new comment, obviously, but you can post a comment, then click ‘edit’; in the editing window, you will see the ‘iimagebrowser’ button, just like when you are crafting a new post.

let me know if you have questions!
