i did some ’sketching’ last night trying to think about some of the ideas we were talking about in the introductory thread so i am starting a new post to share thoughts about the mechanics of the hider’s space. i am thinking this will be more ’spatial concepts’ than actual ‘deployments’ in a constructed arrangement of spaces. hopefully throwing some stuff in here will help when we actually start transcribing the life-scripts of the garcia-mortons.

on january 9th, 2008, the work.group developed a schema for a dwelling, with components listed here, for a married couple and one creep.

are we going to use the program from fallingwater? i might suggest that each house include a dangerous supplement as the seed for its narrative growth. we can start a program thread independent of the houses and then each job captain can provide the dangerous supplement to initiate the development sequence.

here is a pass at the ‘program’, hacked from the house -27 - 7 year house and from what i can remember at fallingwater - we were not allowed to peep all rooms.
i don’t know about sq.footages; if we are using the same five (5) houses, should the footage be the same for all? i wouldn’t think so. maybe the total square footage could be the same for all? what is the average size of a home in the u.s.? i will look it up later.
